Make Readers And Google Fall In Love With Your SEO Copy

How romance can still sell, and not just on Valentines Day.

So it’s that time of year again and whether you like it or loathe it, Valentines is this weekend. Whether you are single and proud or loved up to the high heavens, you can use this occasion to catch the attention of someone every person is trying to impress; Google.

A successful SEO campaign is dependent on many things but one aspect that is guaranteed to help you is your content, and there are tips that can ensure this is the case, for both your readers and your Search Engine. After recently reading a blog post on Copyblogger by Lexi Rogrigo, It came to my attention that people need to get in touch with their loving side in order to make their business soar.

Romantic Words:

Whoever said romance is dead obviously didn’t know much about selling. It’s proven that women are targeted in sales pitches because of the vast increase that has occurred over recent years by women’s urge to spend. Of course, many companies specialise in what they think is a ‘male market’, yet many women make business decision so it’s still essential to attract their attention.

It’s been known that using certain words within your online marketing campaign in conjunction with keywords will attract an audience as well as helping your relationship with Google.

Love, beauty, trust, passion; these are words that attract feminine readers because they hold a certain secret. Whether you decide to use them in a romantic term or just merely to accentuate a point, they work.

Hearts and Flowery Description:

We are told to avoid flowery wording when it comes to SEO content, however this doesn’t mean don’t be descriptive. It’s important to understand the difference and by certainly making your writing more ‘passionate’ this can pass on to your readers as something they can’t be without.

For Google to be interested you need to keep your keywords in mind. Don’t write to blatantly sell, tenderly ease keywords within your text and your SEO will be respected. Cramming in keywords, spamming and using ‘black hat’ techniques will only cause Google to put you back in a place he feels you deserve; heartbreaking isn’t it?

Honesty Is The Best Policy:

When writing your SEO copy, honesty is always the best policy. Trying to be someone else won’t get you far with both your readers or with Google. Duplicating copy will not only cause you to be dropped from your current position, it will also lose the trust of your readers who won’t return to see what else you have to say.

Gaining that trust back takes a lot of work and time, resulting in the loss of sales as you rebuild Google’s confidence in your ability to practice correct SEO techniques. Short cuts never work and any cheating will be caught out, just stick to being yourself and you will be rewarded; by positioning higher and through your profits.

So, if you want to impress both your readers and your search engines, look at your content. Everyone loves a bit of romance, whether they disagree with Valentines Day or not. Help your SEO and make your content that little more special by choosing words that tug at the heart strings of your most important readers.
