SEO is a Long Term Investment

I often get asked how long would it take for us to be in the number one position in the Google rankings? Now there is no simple one line answer to this question. This is like me asking myself on the second day of going to the gym “when will I have a six pack?”. It is possible to set yourself goals and then work accordingly to achieve them. In the same way, we here at Creare create bespoke strategy for your SEO campaign to achieve best results for your business.

Patience is a Virtue

If you are interested in getting your website into the Google rankings then you have to consider SEO as a long term investment which will pay off in the long run. As clichéd as this may sound, patience is certainly virtue. Many people think you can learn and apply SEO to your website overnight – and also think they can get rankings within few days, but having this thinking is being delusional. Little knowledge is dangerous so you have to have confidence in the people marketing your company, as practicing the wrong techniques can put your website in the danger zone.

Think Before You Act

Before appointing anyone to maintain your online marketing, you should analyse the company, look at what they do, how they do it and how long they been doing this successfully (if they are successful in their field). Check their client portfolio and what their existing (or ex) clients have to say about their services.

Once you have decided who to go on board with, have faith, and trust their expertise. You have to consider the fact that they are also in a business and they surely would want to continue doing what they do – meaning they will have your best interests at heart for your campaign to succeed.

Quick Rankings are Possible

Quick results and rankings are possible but this comes at a cost (just like anything which lacks patience). To use the gym as an example again, if you were to use steroids you will see quick change in your body and this might seem good for short period of time. The after affects of using the drug will take place in long run. The same principal applies to using black hat techniques to get your website ranking highly in Google in a short period of time. You are not just jeopardising your website but you are also jeopardising your company and brand.

What if I Just Can’t Wait?

Say you just got this awesome business idea and you are now itching to be appearing on Google but don’t have patience for your organic SEO to take place. Perhaps you need to be ranking now so that your business can get a kick start. In these cases, I would advise you to invest in Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing but also start an organic SEO Campaign. This way you will be appearing in Google thanks to PPC and at the same time you are building strong natural SEO campaign that will remain on Google even after you stop your PPC.

Keep these top tips in mind and remember to be patient when you are looking to build a successful (and profitable) SEO campaign.

    |I don’t know why I can’t understand Facebook Ads, but I don’t. I have been reading about it and it seems like they have complicated things on purpose. I have just one simple question: Will Facebook Advertising cost me real money (money transaction)? Do I have to pay real, fiscal money? Thats all. Help please.
