PPC Video – Improve PPC Campaign & Conversions With New Features
In this weeks blog post Tom Nolan & Joel Tarplin offer advice on a couple of new features you can use with Google Adwords to help increase the performance of your account abd ultimately conversions.
Firstly, we look at the power of +1, not so much for now but for the future where it seems likely all Google search results will feature aggregated +1 information rather than just when you are logged into a Google account. Such information on the popularity of your site/product/service will be invaluable in enhancing your adwords and organic listing. So take our advice and install the Google +1 button on your site now so you don’t fall behind. Information on how and where to install the +1 button can be found at
Secondly, we look at a relatively new feature on Adwords called re-marketing. This involves placing a snippet of code on the desired landing pages of your site and recording which visitors via adwords come to the page. You can then filter this information into desired groups eg. visits that didn’t convert and use these filtered lists to re target with desired adverts on the google display network. Obviously, the ability to target visitors that have already shown an interest in your product/service is invaluable not least because the chances of converting are above average. In order to set up re-marketing on your adwords account go into the audiences tab and select re-marketing on the drop down menu. Fill in the desired descriptive and parameter information and generate the code to insert on your site.
