“Have you seen Google this morning?”. When you hear this question around the office (sometimes accompanied by a few “Oh Wows”), you know it’s a Google Doodle day. Anti-SOPA Doodle

January 18th

Google decided to join other big names on the web to oppose the SOPA and PIPA bills which were designed to prevent online piracy, but which opponents said were equivalent to the censorship of the Internet.

Edward Lear’s 200th Birthday

May 12th

A spot of nostalgia to celebrate the creator of The Owl and the Pussycat, and a good demonstration of how recognisable the Google name remains – even when incorporated into a detailed doodle.

The Olympic Doodles

A series of clever and colourful doodles marked the arrival of the Olympic Games in London, and the added interactivity brought some friendly competition to our mornings as we tried to beat each other in the time trials.
